I just want to say that today my post is a little random, because there are two completely unrelated topics I wish to discuss.

Firs off, I wanted to mention just how excellent it really is to have our bathroom finished… and electric showers are bloody awesome. This thing is marvellous, no, it’s better than that, it’s bloody fantastic. My So and can sit in there for as long as we want because the water is heated as it comes through. Brand new shower enclosures are nice, too, because when you get to pick it out, you get exactly the one that suits you!

This new bathroom… I’m spend so much time in there because it has such a pleasant atmosphere that I just don’t want to leave! :lol: Of course, you have to take precautions that you don’t shower too much, because then your skin dries out and you end up constantly itchy. But if your showers aren’t too hot that shouldn’t happen.

Okay now onto something else, this is a bit of a rant and inspired totally by getting on here to write only to find 18, yes, that’s right, 18 spam comments! What the hell is with that? Why are there so many people running around posting gibberish posts full of links to damn pharmaceutical products? Who buys these things like that? Who thought this was a good idea in the first place, to go around spamming people’s blogs with advertisements for drugs? I find it infuriating and offensive.

Did you know that spam is actually adding to global warming? That there is so much spam being tossed around on the internet that in the last year it took up 33 billion kilowatt-hours of power, which is about the same as the power used in 2.1 million houses. That’s mind boggling, and that was only counting the 62 trillion junk emails, not all the nasty spam comments left on blogs. So please, if you leave spam comments, I understand you’re probably being paid a tiny pittance to do this, but please, don’t stop looking for more reputable work so that you can stop posting those comments on my blogs, I’m deleting them anyway, no one sees them but me, so please, stop posting them.

I was going to write up a post today about the completion of my bathroom renovations, however I’m too distracted to because I bought the full version of Plants vs Zombies today, and have done little more than play it since.

Okay so quick run through of renovation project. I had to completely re-tile my bathroom a while back, so I also renovated the bathroom accessories as well. New whirlpool bath, new shower enclosure, new taps and basin, and the final products went in last weekend with a heated towel rail, and an electric shower. To really shorten my post, my SO and I are really happy with the new set up, and if you are considering renovating your bathroom, it’s best to decide all aspects ahead of time, otherwise you will end up with a half completed bathroom for the months it takes to get in the last few items that you order. Seriously, plan ahead and save yourself those troubles.

Okay now onto what I wanted to talk about today. As I mentioned earlier, I bought Plants vs Zombies earlier today, and I’m afraid to say, my productivity for the day took a sharp decline thereafter. Every time I sit down at my computer, I think ‘just one more turn’ which is fine, they don’t take that long. However, whenever my SO has been giving the game a try, I’ve also not done anything, because I’ve been watching her play!

This is seriously a very fun game, and the additions of mini-games and the almanac have really expanded on the enjoyment too. The write ups for the plants and zombies have a very fun, quirky sense of humour that makes you check the almanac every time you get a new plant or meat a new foe. The bowling mini-game seems a tad difficult, but I’m guessing that one just requires better luck than I just had.

It’s a very enjoyable game, and for the ridiculously small cost, I think everyone should download this game! The website has a few fun features, too, including a ‘zombatar’ avatar creation tool, and you can download the music video PopCap released for the game that is a real hoot! The demo is 60 free minutes, and I strongly suggest you try it out!
